Loveyapa: First track of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor OUT now!
Even though Junaid Khan happens to be the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, he chose to carve his own path… his own way.. This young man Junaid intends to showcase his own talent with his dedication to proving himself. In 2024, he made his acting debut with the historical drama Maharaj produced by Yash Raj Films, where he portrayed a journalist challenging a religious leader. Now he is all set to find himself in the spotlight with the much-anticipated romantic comedy Loveyapa. His commitment to his craft amply showcases his desire to merit recognition for his talent.
His latest film Loveyapa has been garnering extremely positive responses from the selected few who have seen the film. First it was the inimitable filmmaker Karan Johar. Now, it is none other than Bollywood’s He-Man Sunny Deol, who took to social media and shared his thoughts on the film.
On his part, Sunny paaji posted, ‘Saw Loveyapa at 10 am today, such a beautiful film, Junaid and Khushi both are such natural talents, loved their performances. Came out of the theatre with happy tears. My blessings to all!’.
As for Karan Johar, he had posted words of encouragement a couple of days back for the film. He wrote, ‘Drum roll for 2025s first love story success story… #loveyapa talks to the Tech and App obsessed Gen Z with a love story that is hugely entertaining and makes solid points with brevity and precision … it's what you genuinely call a great time at the movies!!!!
You will fall in love with all the characters (terrific ensemble) and root for the magical and endearing leads #junaidkhan and @khushikapoor … I can happily watch the film again and top credit to director @advaitchandan for bringing pace, relentless energy, humour, emotion and solid storytelling to the fore!!!

Bsides Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the film Loveyapa also stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Madan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, Yunus Khan, Yuktam Khosla and Kunj Anand. The film is all set to be released in theatres today (February 7, 2025).
While the film Loveyapa (which happens to be a remake of the Tamil film Love Today), has been directed by Advait Chandan and has been produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, Kalpathi S. Suresh & and Pradeep Ranganathan.
